Aurumite® 14k was designed and patented by Powell Flutes. Powell has been producing Aurumite headjoints and flutes since 1986. Our instruments have stood the test of time and many original Aurumite flutes are still being regularly played today. The inside of the tubing is 14k gold and the outside is sterling silver, this combination provides the brilliant, clear sound of silver with the warmth and response of gold.
