Powell^® would like to help make your recordings available to a wider audience at less risk and expense to you.  If Sony isn’t pounding on your door and you’re not eager to print your own CD’s (and store them in your garage or basement), consider The Recording Studio.  At The Recording Studio artists from around the world offer their flute recordings. Flutists worldwide can then download an entire album or mix and match tracks, creating their own “virtual” albums. We invite you to be a part of it.

Music sharing websites have become increasingly popular, but they neglect most flute music.  The flute playing community is computer savvy and the The Recording Studio functions as a faster, less costly way to distribute flute recordings.  Since there are no album jackets to print or CD’s to burn, the only cost to the artist is recording.

Each artist has their own “home page” within our web site where you can place a picture, biography, a link to your personal website, and your recordings.  Users will be able to view your page, as well as download the individual tracks you have posted for a fee of $1.00 each.  You will receive payment for a portion of each track purchased (details regarding distribution will be provided).  If you already have produced your own CD’s and/or control the rights to them, you can still distribute tracks through The Recording Studio.

This is a unique opportunity to have your recordings heard by flutists around the world.  The only maintenance required by you will be updating your newest recordings!
