She has been a guest artist at major European festivals and on concert series throughout the United States. The National Flute Association has featured her in recitals, master classes, and discussion panels at their New York, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, and Minneapolis conventions. She visited Guangzhou, China in 2002, where she taught and played in recital at the South China Conservatory of Music.

Linda Marianiello has recorded extensively for the Bavarian Radio in Munich, Germany. Her solo CD’s include: “Music for Flute and Piano" (Helicon, New York), “Dialogues: American Music for Flute and Organ" (Musicians Showcase Recordings, New York), and a Baroque Sampler for Swineshead Productions (Berkeley, CA). In fall 2008, MSR released "Consolations: Romantic Music for Flute and Piano." A new CD of European music for flute and organ is planned for 2009.

As a teacher, Linda Marianiello has been on the faculty of several music schools and universities, while she has also maintained a private studio for almost 25 years. She has given master classes throughout the US, in Europe and China. For the past two summers, she has taught at the Sherwood Conservatory of Music Summer Flute Institute in the Chicago Loop. Future plans include long-distance teaching via the Internet. She is very interested to utilize the possibility of doing master teaching to and from any location.

Linda Marianiello holds a B. A. from Yale University and an M. A. from the City University of New York-Brooklyn College. Her teaches are Bernard Goldberg, Thomas Nyfenger, Julius Baker, Walfrid Kujala, as well as Peter Thalheimer, Sandra Miller, and Janet See for baroque flute.
